What we are looking for

You will live and work within a small team in highly demanding and often challenging environments, including operations in high-risk countries. This role requires resilience, flexibility, and a solution-oriented mindset to navigate unpredictable situations and complex cultural differences. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team. Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity are vital to succeed in this dynamic and sometimes difficult setting.

Your qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Experience (Total Time): 1000 hours
  • Minimum PIC experience: 500 hours (250h on ME)
  • Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL (A) license*
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical
  • ICAO Language Proficiency English - Minimum Level 4
  • EASA valid DHC6* (Twin Otter) type rating with minimum 400 hours on Type
  • Covid-19 vaccination and Yellow fever certificate is mandatory for this position
*We are open to considering candidates who hold a valid non-EASA license with a DHC-6 type rating (e.g. FAA, Transport Canada) provided they are willing to convert to an EASA license within one to two years of joining the Company. This is subject to approval by the relevant authorities. Zimex is willing to support with the costs of the conversion; the details of any such arrangement will be discussed with candidates who progress to the interview stage. Candidates should be aware that the EASA conversion process is demanding and requires significant self-study.

Please note that the Validation remains contingent on your original license staying valid throughout — maintaining the validity of your original license is the responsibility of the candidate and any associated costs are not covered by Zimex.
