DHC-6 First Officer

General Information

Our next recruitment round for the position of First Officer on the DHC-6 Twin Otter will focus on candidates who already meet one of the following criteria:

  • Valid DHC-6 Type Rating, or

  • Minimum of 1'000 hours Total Time

At this stage, applications from candidates who do not meet one of these two requirements cannot be considered.

You will live and work within a small team in highly demanding and often challenging environments, including operations in high-risk countries. This role requires resilience, flexibility, and a solution-oriented mindset to navigate unpredictable situations and complex cultural differences. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team. Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity are vital to succeed in this dynamic and sometimes difficult setting.
Your qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Must either hold a valid DHC-6 Type Rating or have at least 1'000 total flight hours, including 70 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Valid EASA (frozen) ATPL (A) license
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical
  • Valid EASA ME/IR rating
  • ICAO Language Proficiency English - Minimum Level 4
  • Advanced UPRT or have held an EASA-type rating on HPA or MPA
  • MCC or 500 hours on multi-crew operation
  • FI experience preferred
  • Covid-19 vaccination and Yellow fever certificate is mandatory for this position
